How it works is that, the instant your child wanders off too far, the hand held locator will instantly beep, vibrate and will tell you what direction to take to find the child.  As you get closer to the child, the beep get s louder and the directional signal gets stronger, making the search easier and with the shortest time possible.  This is reliable up to 600 feet away. 

Another feature of this is the Panic Tag that the child may press when he feels his safety is compromised.  One click of the button will alert the parent or the companion that the child may be in danger.  Each handheld locator can track up to a maximum of 24 independent tags.

This Brickhouse Child Locator may also be used for children with special needs, for the elderly, for pets and for just about anything you care about.  The batteries are powered by Duracell, which last up to 90 days, for added reliability.
